Orders

What forms of payments are accepted?
We process all transactions via Stripe and accept all major credit cards, including American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard and Visa.

How long does shipping normally take?
Shipping time will depend on the destination, and can take between 3-10 days.

Where does Sneaker Con ship?

At the moment we only ship to U.S. addresses, we plan to ship internationally in the future.

What is the return policy?
All sales are final. If there are any issues regarding a confirmed order please email [email protected]

I’m having trouble checking out, what do I do?
Please double check your payment method information is accurate. If you're continuing to experience issues, please email [email protected] with a screenshot of the error message.

I’ve placed an order and haven’t received a confirmation email, what do I do?
Please email [email protected] and we will confirm if your order was processed.

How many delivery attempts are there before the order is returned to Sneaker Con?
The US Postal Service (USPS) will make up to 2 attempts to deliver your package. After the attempts, the package will be held for 15 days from the initial delivery attempt before it is returned to sender.

How come my order was canceled?

Orders can be canceled for a number of reasons. Please email [email protected] for additional details.

How quickly are refunds processed?

 Refunds can take 5-10 business days to be returned to your payment method.

 

Sellers

What is the commission rate?

Sneaker Con charges an 8% commission fee. Sellers keep the remainder of the profit and are not charged any additional processing fees.

I sold a shoe, do I get penalized for shipping it late?

Sellers who do not abide by the terms and conditions will be penalized on a case by case basis. Seller ratings may be affected by shipping delays.

Once I create a seller account, does it need approval from Sneaker Con?

Once you complete the Seller Verification form you are able to sell via the Sneaker Con app.

Why does Sneaker Con require this information on the Seller Verification form?

In order to pay out sellers directly to their bank accounts, we need to verify your identity and bank information. Our payment processor Stripe, safely secures this data.

When I sell a shoe, how long will it take until I receive payment?

If the item is already legit tagged, the funds will be sent to your account once the package is delivered. If the item does not have a legit tag, you will receive payment when Sneaker Con HQ processes that item.

How do I collect payment once Sneaker Con has paid me for a sale:
To collect payment via the app, please take the following steps:

  • Tap your profile image in the app
  • Hit 'Withdraw'
  • Hit 'Withdraw Now'
  • Enter the amount you wish to send to your bank account

To collect payment via the site please take the following steps:

  • Click 'Profile Settings'
  • Hit 'Withdraw Now'
  • Enter the amount you wish to send to your bank account

Once you initiate a transfer it can take 1-2 business days for your bank to process the deposit.

I sold an item, when should I ship it?
A seller has up to 2 business days to ship a sold item.

Are there limitations on the condition of USED pairs?
No, a seller must document through pictures and description any and all wear, tear, and/or defects of the shoe.

What happens if I send in a shoe that is fake or if it is not as described?
There is a $30.00 flat fee for any shoes that we must return to the seller for reasons of authenticity, condition, etc.

Bids

How do bids work?
An interested buyer can submit a bid on a listing, below the listed asking price. The seller has the right to accept or deny the bid from the bidder at any time, once an offer is made.

How can I place a bid?

Select the shoe and size you're interested in, hit 'Make an offer', and enter a bid amount that you wish to offer. You are able to see any other current bids.

When do I get charged if I make a bid?

When a seller accepts a bid, the buyer is charged.

How do I remove my bid?

If you've made a bid, and want to remove it from the seller's consideration, please remove the bid. You can remove the bid, by looking in your closet, hitting 'Live Offers' and then selecting 'Remove my offer.'

LEGIT Certification

What makes the LEGIT Tag unique?
LEGIT Tags utilize NFC technology that allows for users to scan the tag and determine the legit status of the items.

Is there a surcharge for a LEGIT Tag?
LEGIT Tags are applied to all Sneaker Con authenticated shoes at no additional cost.

How do I scan my LEGIT Tag?

You can scan and verify your LEGIT tag either through our iOS App on iPhone 7 and above running iOS 11 and above, or on a phone running Android that has NFC enabled

Where do I get my shoe LEGIT Tagged?
Events: Our LEGIT Team will be tagging shoes at all Sneaker Con events and pop ups.
Buyers: All shoes bought on the Sneaker Con App will be Legit Certified and tagged before you receive them.
Sellers: When you sell a shoe on the Sneaker Con App they will be examined by our LEGIT Team and tagged before shipping to the buyer.

Why should I leave the LEGIT Tag on my shoes?
For Sale: if you plan on selling your shoe in the future then the LEGIT Tag will certify to a buyer that it is authentic. Removing the tag will cancel our certification.
For Show: leave no doubt for spectators. Let everyone know you only wear LEGIT shoes.
For Events: you will be able to scan the LEGIT tag for giveaways, access to events, and exclusive content.

I bought a shoe from someone and it had the LEGIT Tag on it, what do I do with it?

 You can add it to your Closet by tapping the '+' icon in your Profile followed by the LEGIT Scan icon on the iOS App. The shoe you purchased and it's LEGIT Status will then appear in your Closet, available to list in the Marketplace.

Events

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No ID is required to enter the event and all ages are welcome.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
It will depend on the venue. We almost always partner with venues that are accessible via public transit or have public parking spaces nearby.

How do I become a vendor?
On the event page for the Sneaker Con that you're interesting in vending at, please select the 'Become a Vendor' button and fill out the form.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
If you are interested in vending at Sneaker Con or have any other questions feel free to email [email protected]

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, tickets purchased under a different name can be used by another person not listed on the ticket.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No you do not, tickets can be scanned directly from your phone.

What is the refund policy?
All ticket sales are final.

Miscellaneous

How are prices determined?
Sellers determine pricing for all listings.

What does “NEW-CONDITIONAL” mean?
When a shoe is “NEW-CONDITIONAL” it means the actual shoe has never been worn but there are defect(s) with the original packaging and/or included accessories. All defects will be documented through photos and description.

Can my billing and shipping address be different?

Yes, billing and shipping addresses can differ, however, all billing addresses must match what’s on file with credit card providers.
